As an owner of two tiny tattoos, my preference towards them has opened a gateway to more tattoo ideas. Easily covered-up, subtle symbols are a perfect surprise every time I wear my hair up or bare my ankles.
My first tattoo was inked in June 2014. After a long time contemplating a tattoo to symbolize my love for fashion without quoting the word 'fashion', I came across a number of individuals, particularly bloggers, with the clothes hanger inking. This rad reference to my passion for fashion is simple yet highly recognizable among fashion lovers.
Both tattoos took under 5 minutes each. And as for the pain - it's tolerable. As an eczema sufferer, these basic designs are great to etch on whatever places you can find which aren't covered in a rash.
If you're worried about the pain, a tiny tat is perfect for your first tattoo. If you're worried about regretting it or not wanting it to be constantly exposed, go for places easily cover-able such as the back of the neck, back of the ear, torso, ankle or, heck, brand the sole of your foot.
Getting a tattoo is permanent and therefore a big decision. But as long as you're happy with it, it's worth it.
